About me
Hi, I'm Ivan Lučin.
I'm VP of Engineering and co-owner at Productive, based in Zagreb, Croatia. I joined in 2015 as the company's first frontend engineer and have been leading engineering since 2021.
I'm a frontend engineer under the hood — JavaScript, TypeScript, Ember and all things web — and these days I'm leading the development of Productive's AI (agentic) platform. I speak at conferences, record podcasts and build side projects.
What I do

- Still coding a lot: TypeScript, frontend, LLM integrations and agent harnesses.
- Speaking at conferences and meetups about AI engineering and engineering leadership.
- Recording podcasts and building side projects when time allows.
Outside work
Husband, dad of two girls and a wannabe musician — the rough sketches end up on SoundCloud.
The site is called randomness because that's what it is — random things I make and say.
